Planning and Goal Setting - Nothing like planning my week(s). Reminding myself that I got this!
I like to motivate my self by journaling, focusing on positive intentions for my week, and getting a head start on tasks and goals I set. I use my @the_happy_planner to get organized, thanks to @shauna_simone, without a planner/calendar, a journal I'm not sure how I would be able to function. lol
Here are some ways to get motivated on a Monday that will have you feeling great!
1. Start your day with good thoughts - positive affirmations. I have a few I like to say daily and they work for me. Find one to say daily to help you create a good start to your day.
2. Meditate - Take some me - stop and take some deep breaths it helps to lower stress, and it tells your brain to slow down and relax. Try it, you just might like it!
3. Paying attention to your thoughts - your thoughts have actions, so think positive thoughts that help you to have positive actions. What you think about, you bring about!
4. Eating Healthy - What you eat also affects your mood. Change your meals to healthy meals and you'll find you will have more energy and can focus more.
5. Exercise - Another great way to motivate yourself is by exercising. For instance, I like yoga and cardio, while others might like going to the gym or going for daily walks. I don't always have enough time but I try to make time to just sit on the porch and do breathing exercises.
6. Sleep - Ok, lol so this one my husband will tell you, I don't get enough of it at all. I know sleep is so important but I am a work in progress on that one! On the days when I do get enough sleep, I wake up feeling more focused and well-rested. Nothing like good night sleep.
I still have a few things to work on from this list, but it's a great set up to help me focus and have a more balanced day.
What about you? What do you do to motivate yourself? How do you stay positive, especially during this pandemic? What things do you need to work on more? What do you do or don't do on this list?
